Project Overview:

Reach Out Malaysia is an online platform dedicated to community outreach and charitable activities. The website serves as a central hub for connecting individuals and organizations to various volunteering opportunities, events, and donation initiatives. The project focused on providing a user-friendly experience while ensuring a fast and scalable deployment.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the lead developer for Reach Out Malaysia, I was responsible for both the technical and operational aspects of the project. My primary tasks included:

• Website Development: I developed the platform using WordPress, customizing various themes and plugins to create a dynamic and user-friendly interface. I also integrated necessary features such as event listings, volunteer sign-ups, and donation modules.
• Server Deployment & Management: The platform was deployed on a LiteSpeed server using CyberPanel as the control panel. I configured the server for optimal performance, leveraging LiteSpeed’s caching capabilities to ensure fast page loads and high availability.
• Optimization & Performance Tuning: I implemented performance optimization techniques, including database optimization, image compression, and caching, to ensure that the website runs smoothly even during peak traffic periods.
• Security & Backup: I set up security measures such as SSL encryption, firewall rules, and regular backups to ensure the platform’s stability and protect user data.

Achievements:

• Successfully developed and launched a fully functional WordPress platform catering to community outreach initiatives.
• Optimized the website for high performance, resulting in fast loading times and a seamless user experience.
• Efficiently deployed and managed the platform on a LiteSpeed server using CyberPanel, ensuring a reliable hosting environment.
